Join Musical Avenues Dance Winter Session for our seventeenth year of tap, ballet, and jazz classes for students preschool through adult.  Registration begins December 30th with classes starting the week of January 25th.  Our year-end recital with costumes is scheduled for May 22nd. New this session are three 6- week classes: Creative Movement (age 3), Irish Dancing (Gr K-4) and Adult Tap.  Classes are held at Southwood Center (4901 West 112th St.) in room 100. Barres and mirrors are available.  If you find your class selection is full, don't hesitate to call.

Ms. Jill Hogan teaches our Monday classes and has been with the Musical Avenues Program for five years.  She also has taught dance in the Minneapolis Schools Community Education Program for over 20 years.  Ms. Kyle Gerhart teaches our Tuesday and Thursday classes and has taught two years in our program.  She has a degree in education with a dance focus from St. Benedicts College and also teaches at the DanceXchange and Kairos Dance Theatre. Both teachers foster a fun, relaxed approach to learning dance in a non-competitive atmosphere.  Our class size is limited to 12 students and our fees are affordable.  We hope you will join our program this year.
